We are seeking a Technical Product Expert (m/f/d) for timsTOF solutions at our Bruker Daltonics HQ in Bremen/remote.

Responsibilities

The role involves providing technical support for our high-resolution Q-TOF product lines, focusing on hardware and application solutions with the new timsOmni technology and related technologies. Responsibilities include supporting customers in Europe and assisting service colleagues worldwide:

  1. Technical support via phone, email, and remote tools
  2. Supporting service colleagues during installation, maintenance, and repairs
  3. Troubleshooting hardware issues using QC samples
  4. Checking software compatibility
  5. Coordinating spare parts deliveries
  6. Collaborating with departments like aftermarket, production, and product management
  7. Assisting users in system operation
  8. Providing 2nd level support during onsite troubleshooting
  9. Logging operations in CRM systems
  10. Using and improving support tools
  11. Initiating product improvements
  12. Participating in R&D meetings for new instrument rollouts
  13. Occasional national and international service visits
  14. Regular onsite exchanges at the Bremen factory
  15. Managing escalations

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering, natural sciences, or equivalent technical training
  • Experience in electrical or physical engineering
  • Knowledge of mass spectrometry and nano-HPLC systems
  • Experience in imaging applications is a plus
  • Interest in technical and instrumental analysis
  • Strong communication skills and personal charisma to build trust
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Organizational skills and flexibility
  • Business acumen and reliability
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • Good IT skills
