What you´ll do:

1. Oversee Global Tax Reporting: Manage and ensure adherence to global tax compliance requirements across corporate taxes, sales taxes, and eco contributions, and implement best practice reporting processes.
2. Oversee Global Tax Accounting: Supervise tax accounting processes, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, to maintain accuracy and transparency in financial records.
3. Drive Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to streamline tax reporting & accounting processes and implement process enhancements using technology and data-driven insights, focusing on leveraging ERP systems and other tech solutions.
4. Develop and Mentor Teams: Prepare for a future team lead role by mentoring and managing team members, fostering professional growth, and promoting a collaborative, high-performance work culture.
5. Monitor and Report Performance: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for tax reporting and accounting, providing regular updates to management and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations, emerging technologies, and industry trends to anticipate changes and proactively adapt strategies.

Who we are looking for:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
• Proven track record in tax reporting and tax accounting in a multinational environment.
• Strong affinity for technology and experience working with ERP systems to drive process improvements in tax reporting & accounting.
• Demonstrated potential for team leadership, including mentoring staff and managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail in preparing and reviewing financial and tax documentation.
• Fluent in English (German is a Plus).
