NetSuite Finance Consultant

About the Role:

Our client, a leading organisation based in Germany, is seeking a talented and motivated NetSuite Finance Consultant to join their growing team. This is a remote role, and we are open to applicants with an accounting background who have gained experience with NetSuite implementations. As a NetSuite Finance Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on the finance modules of NetSuite, assisting with the configuration and implementation of NetSuite solutions, and ensuring the financial systems meet the business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and optimisation of NetSuite Finance modules, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design customised NetSuite solutions that meet financial and operational needs.
• Configure and customise NetSuite according to business requirements.
• Provide functional expertise during system implementation, ensuring smooth integration with other business processes.
• Assist with data migration and ensure financial data is accurate and properly aligned in the system.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they understand how to leverage NetSuite for financial operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to NetSuite Finance functionality.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Keep up-to-date with NetSuite releases and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounting or finance, with a solid understanding of financial processes and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite implementation, configuration, and customisation.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite Finance modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Reporting).
• Fluent in German, both written and spoken, as the client’s internal communication is primarily conducted in German.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into NetSuite solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote working environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• A proactive and results-driven approach with the ability to work under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Certification in NetSuite Financial Management (or similar relevant certification) is a plus.
• Experience in other ERP or accounting systems is an advantage.
