Your responsibilities include:

• Position ZEISS in the bio-medical field, focusing on engineering biology opportunities (e.g., organoids for drug screening, tissue engineering).
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to an interdisciplinary team.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities through innovation and market studies, considering desirability, feasibility, and viability.
• Develop solutions with pilot customers beyond the current portfolio.
• Initiate and steer projects, including external partners, developing proof-of-concept demonstrators and transferring know-how to ZEISS.
• Contribute to long-term roadmaps and innovation strategies in biomedicine.
• Support the transfer of concepts and solutions to ZEISS business units.

Qualifications:

• University degree in life sciences, medicine, STEM (preferably with a PhD).
• Proven expertise in organoids, tissue engineering, stem cells, or similar.
• Interest in early-stage innovation in biomedicine, biotech, or pharma.
• Understanding of pharma applications (e.g., toxicology testing, drug development) is a plus.
• Passion for driving ideas, stakeholder engagement, and project management experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
