Data center construction is a rapidly evolving sector in the built environment. Arcadis is leading global projects in this field, especially in Germany's Frankfurt area, which is becoming a key hub for data centers due to its connectivity and digital infrastructure demand. Role accountabilities

• Manage the design of electrical systems for Data Centers, focusing on efficiency, redundancy, and safety.
• Lead a team of engineers and technicians to develop technical solutions for electrical infrastructure.
• Develop electrical designs for Data Centers, incorporating energy-efficient technologies and industry trends.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other specialists to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Manage budgets, resources, and report progress to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in designing and managing electrical systems for complex projects, preferably Data Centers.
• Strong understanding of energy-efficient electrical systems and industry trends.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards in electrical safety and fire protection.
• Proficiency in CAD software and planning tools.
• Strong technical, analytical, and team coordination skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively in English and German.
• Willingness to travel within Germany and abroad as needed.
