Position Overview

On behalf of our client, ESOC, we are seeking a skilled Automation / Continual Improvement Officer to join our team, distributed across the ESOC site in Germany.

Main Responsibilities

As Automation / Continual Improvement Officer, your activities will focus on:

  • Coordinating and promoting automation across NOC services.
  • Supporting the Service Manager in evolving the service to meet changing business needs.
  • Reviewing existing processes to identify automation opportunities for service improvements.
  • Designing and implementing automated processes into operations.
  • Integrating automation tools within NOC services.
  • Collaborating with SDMs and support groups for project implementation.
  • Participating in user meetings, briefings, and workshops.
  • Staying updated on automation trends and best practices.
  • Providing regular and on-demand reports and statistics.
  • Acting as the interface to the customer.

Candidate Profile

Do you meet the following criteria? Read below for the desired experience and knowledge:

Applicants should have a solid background in IT/Operational support. Experience in an international environment is a plus.

Desirable Experience and Education:

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes in IT Service Management.
  • Experience in project management; certifications like Prince2, PMP, Six Sigma are preferred.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and their capabilities.
  • Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and OS.
  • Fluent in English with effective communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Proactive, confident, with good persuasive skills.
  • Team-oriented, capable of interfacing with technical and management personnel.
  • Organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Skilled in documentation, procedures, and training material creation.
  • Experience in team coordination and supervision.
  • Proficient with MS Office and ITSM tools.
