Risk Manager - Financial Risks / Capital Actuary (m / f / d) •

• Performing the annual capital model cycle for the Solvency II internal model, including contributing to its calibration, model changes, validation and documentation
• Quantitative risk management and risk analytics, contributing to the use test of the capital model, including conducting stress and scenario testing and providing risk opinions on risk-taking decisions under consideration of the risk-bearing capacity of the company
• Contributing to the regulatory and internal risk reporting cycles
• Fulfilling regulatory requirements and ad hoc studies, participating in projects
• Ensuring ongoing appropriate risk governance by maintaining documentation and approval procedures
• Managing stakeholders and the wider embedment of the financial risk management framework at local as well as at group level

Your Profile

• University degree in mathematics, actuarial science or in a similar quantitative field, ideally complemented with further training in risk management or finance
• Actuarial education (Aktuar DAV or comparable qualification from another actuarial association) or the intention to complete / start it is an advantage
• Working collaboratively and effectively in an international group dynamic and in a hybrid set-up
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills combined with the ability to explain and present on senior management level
• Experience in risk modelling, experience with coding languages (R) is an asset
• Strong written and verbal communication in English, German skills at least at an intermediate level
