Senior Project Manager

Position Summary:

We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Germany, responsible for developing and maintaining customer-facing applications for key finance partners.

As a Senior Project Manager, your duties will involve collaborating with our change implementation teams, fine-tuning requirements and specifications, and adeptly addressing technical challenges to deliver cutting-edge, secure applications to our clientele. Success in this role hinges on your background in constructing financial solutions within SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for German-speaking clients, providing regular updates and managing project expectations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, prepare status reports, and assist with internal and client-facing presentations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (development, design, etc.) to ensure project goals are met.
• Risk & Issue Management: Help identify potential project risks and issues, escalating to senior project managers when necessary.
• Continuous Improvement: Assist with process improvements to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and German
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an investment bank or similar financial institutions is preferred
• Proficiency in working with investment products, including derivatives, and familiarity with financial websites
• Demonstrated experience in effectively managing both internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in SaaS platform development and implementation
• Familiarity and understanding of documentation standards
• Knowledge of testing practices
• Understanding of security practices
• Familiarity with working in a regulated environment
• Excellent organization skills to effectively plan the utilization of resources and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage expectations
• Ability to exercise initiative and make decisions under pressure
