Job Description: Account Manager at Zoho

As an Account Manager at Zoho, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of medium-sized clients, ensuring high renewal rates, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and driving greater adoption of our extensive product suite. Responsibilities

  1. Take full ownership for the growth, satisfaction, and retention of your assigned SMB customer portfolio.
  2. Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts to achieve upgrade and cross-sell revenue goals.
  3. Create, maintain, and execute account plans for these accounts and coordinate with internal domain experts for delivery.
  4. Uncover and mitigate any risks that threaten your customers' growth, satisfaction, or renewal.
  5. Resolve issue escalations by working closely with support, product, and engineering teams.
  6. Collaborate with customers' implementation partners to ensure overall satisfaction and foster a trusted partnership.
  7. Use solution selling expertise to respond to customer needs and help them realize business value from Zoho's products.
  8. Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings.
  9. Forecast and track key account metrics such as renewal, upgrades, and pipeline.
  10. Build a solid base of reference-able customer contacts.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of business development experience in software/SaaS, with at least 1 year in account management managing SME companies.
  • Experience in selling SaaS applications like CRM, ERP, Accounting, or HRMS is preferred.
  • Proven ability to grow business from existing accounts and exceed revenue targets.
  • Effective presentation and product demo skills highlighting value propositions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically for customer meetings.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools for process management and reporting.
  • Fluency in English and German (native speaker) is mandatory.
