Location: Ideally Berlin (Hybrid model – work from home and office). If located in Germany (outside of Berlin), work fully remote with travel to hotels and HQ.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Project Work Facility Management:
  • Independent property management of existing 5-6 hotels (e.g., Cologne, Frankfurt, Heidelberg) in cooperation with hotel managers.
  • Management of contractors and FM service suppliers, coordination of the repair of damage and defects in the hotels (e.g., repair measures after water damage, construction defects).
  • Ensure all activities meet maintenance standards, health, safety, and regulations.
  • Warranty prosecution in coordination with owners, property managers, and external companies.
  • Obtain competitive quotations as per given requirements and policies. Negotiate with suppliers.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with service providers and key suppliers to support maintenance of our properties.
  • Securing Regular Operations of Hotels:
  • Conduct site visits regularly (up to 40% travel requirement). Travel expenses paid by the company and compensation for additional travel expenses.
  • Track maintenance services, asset renewal, and spare parts availability, ensuring rooms are not out-of-order.
  • Participate in FM services contract negotiations and related agreements.
  • Implement new properties into the existing FM structure.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, ensuring adherence and reporting within the area of responsibility.
  • Optimization of Processes:
  • Prepare guidelines and manuals for maintenance.
  • Plan, organize, and implement new standards.
  • Provide evaluations and statistics from the FM area to the Head of Facility Management for decision-making.
  • Train and onboard new team members.
  • Bachelor's degree, or at least 2 years of proven experience, in Facility Management, preferably in Hospitality Facilities Management, Engineering, or Business Administration fields.
  • Experience in maintenance of assets and building installations is a plus.
  • Ability to apply problem-solving skills and techniques.
  • Proficient use of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Languages: Fluent German; English or Hungarian is a plus.
