Position: SAP IAG Functional Consultant (Freelance)

Location: 90% Remote (EU-based preferred)

Industry: Pharmaceutical/Life sciences

Role Summary

We're looking for an experienced SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG) Functional Consultant to support a major pharmaceutical client through a cloud transformation. The role involves designing and implementing IAG in a highly regulated, GxP-compliant environment, working closely with stakeholders across IT, compliance, and audit.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and deployment of SAP IAG across a hybrid SAP landscape
• Define and implement access workflows, SoD analysis, and risk mitigation strategies
• Align IAG rules and processes with regulatory standards (GxP, SOX, 21 CFR Part 11)
• Collaborate with business units to gather role requirements and drive compliant design
• Support integrations with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and SuccessFactors
• Deliver documentation and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• 3+ years of SAP IAG or GRC Access Control experience (IAG required)
• Strong understanding of SoD, access request workflows, and provisioning
• Experience with S/4HANA and Fiori role design
• Proven track record in regulated industries, preferably pharma
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Nice to have skills: SAP Process Control, SAP Cloud Identity Services, German language skills
