Technical Sales Engineer - Photonics (m/f/d)

To accelerate our growth, we are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer Photonics (m/f/d) to lead our sales initiatives, build strong customer relationships, and create new business opportunities.

In this role, you will work closely with researchers and industry leaders, demonstrating the value of our innovative solutions and guiding them through the decision-making process.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Sales Strategies – Drive inbound and outbound sales initiatives to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Engage and Build Customer Relationships – Cultivate strong relationships with potential and existing customers, understanding their needs and challenges.
• Demonstrate and Communicate Value – Present Swabian Instruments' solutions, guiding customers through the decision-making process.
• Manage Sales Pipeline – Follow up with leads, nurture long-term partnerships, and track sales performance for optimization.
• Expand Market Presence – Represent Swabian Instruments in the global scientific community, participating in events and networking opportunities.
• Support Adoption of Technology – Promote and accelerate the adoption of Swabian Instruments' innovative solutions in relevant markets.

Qualifications:

• You are a proactive self-starter with high energy and passion to continuously learn and improve your skills to drive our business forward.
• You have a strong technical background in a scientific discipline to understand the principles behind our technology and its relevant applications.
• • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or Materials Science required. Master’s or PhD preferred.
• You have a genuine passion for engaging and interacting with others, dedicated to mastering the art of effective communication and negotiation.
• You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your efforts generate a direct, meaningful impact on our success.
