Job Description

Position Description

1. Preparation and maintenance of safety-relevant documentation and reports for internal and external bodies, as well as regular reporting to internal officials.
2. Identification, analysis, and assessment of security risks of IT (security) architectures, systems, and information.
3. Conducting security audits and continuously improving processes by checking for vulnerabilities and potential threats in the (IT) organization.
4. Collaborate with internal departments, government representatives, and external partners to share security-related information and develop new IT security solutions.
5. Training of employees on security-related topics and sensitization for the safe handling of sensitive information and technical systems.

Qualifications

1. You have successfully completed your studies in IT Security, Business Informatics, or have comparable training with relevant professional experience.
2. You have several years of professional experience in the IT environment, especially in IT security or IT governance & compliance.
3. You have experience in the creation and evaluation of IT security concepts. Good knowledge of a company that is strongly influenced by security as well as BSI IT protection is an advantage.
4. You have gained initial experience in auditing a complex IT landscape.
5. Your analytical thinking skills enable you to identify and assess security risks as well as develop and implement appropriate countermeasures.
6. You possess a strong sense of responsibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to convey complex topics in an understandable way.
