Test Program Developer V93000 (m/f/x) 1528

In Böblingen, we are looking for a Test Program Developer V93000 SmarTest (m/f/x). This position is suitable for software developers with a background in electronics and for semiconductor test engineers knowledgeable in writing high-quality software. Experience with Advantest’s Test System V93000 is required for this position. Occasional travel to customer sites is needed.

For this position, we can only consider applicants who are already living in Germany or a neighboring country.

Your profile:

• Already living in Germany/EU and able to relocate quickly to Böblingen area
• Experience in V93000 SmarTest 7 or SmarTest 8 Test program development
• Proficient in writing software using Java, Python, or Ruby
• Strong background in electronics
• Familiar with Linux-based systems and state-of-the-art development environments (Eclipse-IDE, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, etc.)
• Passion for quality, background in testing
• Willingness to travel to customer sites within the EU

Your responsibilities:

You will develop test programs with SmarTest 7 or SmarTest 8 and execute them on a V93000 system.

Your main tasks include:

• Developing test programs using C++, Java, Python, or Ruby in a Linux/Eclipse-IDE environment
• Reviewing technical documentation to identify test cases
• Maintaining and harmonizing existing test programs
• Debugging test programs, failures, or data anomalies
• Maintaining the environment, tools, and scripts
