Customer Service Coordinator

Purpose of the position:

We are seeking a customer-centric and detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Munster. This role is important to ensuring seamless coordination activities while delivering exceptional service to our customers in the DACH region.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service

1. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in the DACH region, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
2. Foster positive relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
3. Identify processes that may be improved to enhance service.
4. Regularly check the service level of your accounts.
5. Manage the end-to-end order fulfillment process, including item setup, order entry, returns, and credit notes.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and customer inventory control.
7. Monitor required shipping dates in orders daily.
8. Follow procedures relating to inventory control to avoid overstock.

Shipping

1. Monitor shipment progress and proactively address delays or disruptions.
2. Work closely with internal departments, including Supply Chain, Sales, Quality, and Production, to align customer service operations with overall business goals.
3. Support cross-functional initiatives to improve processes and enhance customer experiences.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field.
2. Experience: 3+ years in a similar role, preferably within the food or FMCG industry.
3. Strong understanding of import/export logistics, incoterms, and customs regulations.
4. Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
7. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
8. Languages: Proficiency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
