Position Overview

MENCK is seeking a Project Controller (m/w/d) 20 hrs/week based at our facility in Kaltenkirchen, Germany. The role involves managing and monitoring the financial aspects of rental and sales projects, ensuring they stay within budget and schedule by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and collaborating with project managers for successful project completion.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in transferring offers to projects in our ERP system, verifying details align with budgets and contracts.
2. Align revenues for rent, personnel, and logistics within Rental & Sales projects.
3. Review rental/sales contract drafts concerning commercial terms, aiming to improve conditions and project profitability.
4. Handle invoicing according to contractual terms and record outstanding receivables.
5. Update project data in the system, including invoice plans and revenue recognition.
6. Adjust project forecasts in coordination with Project Manager and Financial Controller.
7. Ensure time charges align with budgets and correctly post deviations.
8. Address tax issues before, during, and after projects, including WHT, VAT, and local taxes.
9. Support project management with insurance obligations and claims processing.
10. Manage bank guarantees and letters of credit.
11. Oversee stock deliveries to project sites, ensuring timely inventory counts and returns.
12. Possess a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or similar, with relevant professional experience.
13. Fluency in English and German (spoken and written).
14. High IT affinity, preferably with MS Dynamics NAV and JetReports experience.
15. Strong financial, contractual, and commercial awareness.
16. Commitment to ongoing professional development in finance and related fields.
