Your day at NTT DATA

The Lead Inside Sales Client Manager has significant inside sales experience. This is a transactional role focused on current clients, engaging through programmatic use cases and digital channels to meet their technology needs.

The Lead Inside Sales Client Manager mines for new sales opportunities within an assigned account list.

This role acts as an informal team lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships, driving expansion and renewals across solutions within assigned accounts.
  • Minimize churn and maximize retention.
  • Drive client satisfaction throughout the buying process.
  • Identify current needs and articulate how our services add value.
  • Use sales tools and methodologies to manage accounts, opportunities, pipelines, and forecasts.
  • Present new offerings to clients.
  • Communicate quotes, provide sales documentation, and close sales when appropriate.
  • Build relationships and demonstrate knowledge of the client environment.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling solutions and services.
  • Manage and grow revenue within assigned accounts.
  • Adhere to governance, compliance, and finance standards, escalating issues as needed.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Strong sales business acumen, understanding client’s business and financial aspects.
  • Effective client engagement and management skills, building trust and lasting relationships.
  • Knowledge of company offerings, market trends, and application of solutions to client needs.
  • Proven ability to identify and advance sales opportunities, coordinating internal and external resources.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or relevant certification.
  • Experience in a similar role with demonstrated sales and client engagement success.
  • Experience negotiating with clients and analyzing commercial information.
