Senior SAP Consultant Finance & Accounting (m / f / d).

The Finance Business Unit provides consulting and implementation services that focus on digital transformation and innovative processes to improve the finance and accounting functions for international insurance and banking companies. We are SAP’s preferred solution integrator and offer functional and technical expertise, project methodologies, accelerators and templates, system training, and ongoing maintenance support.

Our Finance team covers all areas of implementation, data integration, and reporting. As one of the largest Finance teams in the world, we employ consultants, data scientists, software engineers, and industry experts.

What you will do

1. Drive successful projects and proof of concepts around SAP Finance in the Insurance industry.
2. Present our products to potential new customers, engaging audiences from actuarial, accounting, and IT departments.
3. Lead projects focusing on FPSL within an international team of experts.
4. Guide customers in running scoping workshops, configure SAP FPSL, and actively support system implementation.
5. Estimate efforts required for project requirements.
6. Analyze customer specifications and ensure compliance with governmental regulations such as IFRS 17, IFRS 9, or U.S. GAAP.
7. Provide professional training for clients, including design and documentation.

What we are looking for

Requirements

1. 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in Insurance, Accounting, Actuarial, or SAP Financials.
2. A degree in accounting, actuarial science, (business) informatics, or auditing.
3. Understanding of accounting standards, preferably IFRS.
4. Strong analytical and conceptual abilities with a quick grasp of new concepts.
5. Experience in implementation projects.
6. Good knowledge of SAP modules, preferably S/4HANA Financial Products Subledger or SAP Insurance Analyzer.
7. Confident presentation and communication skills.
8. Fluent in English (spoken and written) and proficiency in German.
9. Willingness to travel and work at customer sites internationally.
