Why we're hiring for this role

Since launching our academy and installation offering, we've seen tremendous growth in our heat pump installation business. We've built Lubo, our operational platform that digitizes previously paper-heavy processes for our tradespeople and operations team. To scale our business and expand into new regions and verticals within clean home energy, we need to optimize and automate our processes even further. We're looking for a Business Automation Manager who can identify operational bottlenecks, build innovative automation solutions, and help us transition from traditional processes to a cutting-edge, AI-enhanced operation.

What you'll do

You'll own
  • Process optimization and automation
    • You'll work at the intersection of business and technology, identifying operational bottlenecks and opportunities for automation.
    • You'll build and implement solutions using our no-code/low-code stack (Retool, Airtable, Make, Google Sheets) to optimize critical business processes.
    • You'll create workflows that reduce manual work, minimize errors, and free up our team to focus on value-added activities.
    • You'll help operationalize our "Guided Installation" concept - making heat pump installation accessible to everyone through step-by-step digital guidance.
  • AI and automation innovation
    • You'll explore and implement the latest automation technologies to continuously improve our operations.
    • You'll experiment with AI agents and LLMs to transition from traditional process automation to more intelligent, contextual workflows.
    • You'll build automation solutions that support our academy's training methods and extend learning beyond the initial 10-week program.
  • Stakeholder collaboration
    • You'll work closely with operations, the academy team, and tradespeople to understand their needs and pain points.
    • You'll translate business requirements into effective automation solutions.
    • You'll prioritize based on data and user feedback to conceptualize lean, pragmatic solutions that resolve identified problems.
    • You'll train and support team members in adopting new automated processes.
