Summary Statement

At Ottobock, we are working to harmonize digital end-to-end processes worldwide. Our goal is to reduce complexity and enhance the performance of our dynamically growing company. As a Business Process Manager (m/f/d) with a focus on Finance, you serve as the link between Business Process Owners (BPOs), stakeholders in the finance sector, and IT partners. You actively shape financial processes, including Record-to-Report, Plan-to-Perform, as well as Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • You lead Business Process Re/Engineering projects in the Finance department.
  • In this capacity, you collaborate closely with the VPs of Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, and Tax, as well as their direct reports, to gather/align project requirements, develop solution designs, and oversee their implementation.
  • You identify improvement potentials, present them to stakeholders, and execute corresponding measures.
  • You develop process standards in the international finance context and support local units in their outcome-oriented implementation. In doing so, you already consider the systemic representation of processes in the solution design.
  • You actively shape the target image of a Shared Service Organization from a business process perspective and are actively involved in its implementation.
  • You assist the department in creating process documentation in our process application AENEIS.

Profile

  • Completed studies in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in finance.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling techniques and tools, ERP, consolidation, and BI systems.
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical thinking and self-responsible, results-oriented work approach.
  • Flexible and family-friendly working hour models.
  • Mobile work option and days of vacation.
  • Attractive salary package, company pension plan, and private accident insurance.
  • Systematic onboarding program for an optimal start.
  • Corporate benefits and discounts at local businesses.
  • Individual support and development through internal (Ottobock Academy) and external training measures.
