Job Details

As this is a home-based role we can accept candidates from the Germany, UK, Netherlands, France, Israel and Czech Republic

On a day-to-day basis, you'll be managing the full product lifecycle of our Biosurgical range, getting involved in the initial concept phrase, right through to product launch. You'll be creating training materials for both our direct sales force, and for our surgeons who depend on our products to ensure positive outcomes for patients. You'll also be analysing key market trends across the globe, completing various market research projects, and analysing the data.

We're looking for someone who has previous surgical marketing experience, preferably within, Orthopaedics/Trauma, Spine Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Hand/Foot & Ankle Surgery or Veterinary Surgery, who has experiencing working within an Operating Theatre liaising with surgeons. This is a great and exciting opportunity to really make a difference to patients, as you'll be actively providing solutions to surgeons, and helping them to prevent potentially life-threatening diseases.

Key responsibilities

What will this role involve?
  • Generation of sales materials, digital platforms, collateral and other marketing tools
  • Management of customer feedback (Post Market Surveillance along with R&D and Regs).
  • Management of product upgrades, development and line extensions into the market.
  • Management of analytical market data, market shares, competitor activity and sales trend analysis.
  • Supporting and validating sales management forecasts.
  • Providing expertise and field support to target key accounts/ Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Providing analysis and input for pricing strategy.
  • Constructing training and induction programmes for sales, clinical teams and customers.
  • Managing the development of KOL's and user groups in conjunction with the Clinical Team and undertaking "Voice of Customer" with other activities to gain market insight
  • Developing and managing a strategic and tactic plan to support product launches and key marketing messages/ targeted campaigns.
  • Working with Strategic marketing on operational aspects of any rebranding campaigns.
  • Providing distributor support (co-marketing activity, promotions and supply channel support).
  • Manage the process of gaining reimbursement for products in key markets.
  • Define and manage key conferences, symposia and workshops to be attended, ensuring a good business case and return on investment through solid objectives.
  • Social Media Content development and digital adverts will belong to the weekly tasks.

What we're looking for?
  • Business and/or Marketing Degree preferred, Sales and Marketing Experience required.
  • Previous relevant experience in medical device sales and brand/ product management on a strategic and tactical level and experience in life cycle management.
  • Knowledge of market segments of responsibility preferred including experience within the operation room where appropriate.
  • Comfortable in an Operating Room setting. Professional rapport with surgeon, clinical staff and nurses.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience of managing small teams.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English and a second language (German or French preferred).
  • Ability to use IT packages such as Word, Excel, Teams, Email and Power Point.
  • Excellent analytical skills with spreadsheets and numerical analysis skills.
  • Ability to write and deliver training courses, workshops and materials.
  • Ability to exercise tact and good interpersonal skills.
