To strengthen our team in Mainz-Kastel, we are looking for dedicated and motivated "Auszubildende zum Industriemechaniker (m/w/d)".

Are you interested in mechanical processes in machines and systems or the production of workpieces through various manufacturing techniques? Would you like to create the basis for a safe and successful career?

Then you are exactly right at Honeywell Elster. As an industrial mechanic, you will learn manual and mechanical machining as well as separating, forming, soldering and gluing. Creating, entering and optimizing programs for CNC machines is just as much part of your tasks as setting up, converting and maintaining machines and production systems. Other focal points include assembling and disassembling devices and systems according to technical documents as well as control technology in the areas of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical engineering.

Monitoring production processes and ensuring quality round off the training content.

Your practical training takes place in our training workshop and in the various specialist departments in our company. The theoretical training takes place at the vocational school in Mainz. During the entire training period, you will also receive additional practical instruction.

The training lasts 3.5 years and regularly starts in September 2025. With particularly good performance, you can shorten the training period.

Your Profile

• Realschulabschluss or (Fach-)Abitur
• Mathematical, scientific and technical understanding and interest
• Manual skills, reliability, as well as precision and care
• Enjoy working in a team in a leading and innovative global company
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
