The Opportunity

CACI is establishing upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple Department of Defense customers. We seek experienced, innovative, and motivated IT specialists to support AFRICOM’s mission objectives.
Responsibilities :
- CACI offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed Active Directory Administrator - Senior. This position supports a DoD organization, US AFRICOM, located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.
- Support systems and applications on a geographically dispersed enterprise network with various servers and applications. Responsible for the effective operation and interconnectivity of a DoD network, addressing deficiencies and improving system performance.
- Perform engineering functions across multiple disciplines, support incident management, and assist in designing, building, testing, and transitioning systems to IT Operations.
- Focus on Active Directory design and maintenance, including: designing and implementing Group Policy Objects, maintaining Domain OU structure, establishing and decommissioning Sites, ensuring optimized replication, establishing Trusts with Mission Partners, configuring DFS, and integrating with third-party products. Create and maintain logon/logoff scripts using PowerShell.
- Provide Tier 3 support, including infrastructure, design, troubleshooting, and administration of servers. Mentor less experienced engineers and administrators.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members, work in dynamic environments, and interface with client managers and users.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current adjudicated Top Secret Clearance, ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI (No Waiver).
- BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized experience.
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and Microsoft enterprise environments.
- Professional certification meeting or exceeding DoD 8570 IAT III (e.g., CASP, CISM, CISSP).
- Server Operating Systems Certification (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, AZ-800/801).
- Experience with automation using PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files.
- Proven system administration experience on Microsoft platforms.
- At least 5 years in Systems Engineering roles with increasing responsibilities.
- Experience deploying and testing new systems following System Engineering principles.
- Strong communication skills and documentation abilities.
- TESA eligibility.
Desired:
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification.
- Adaptability to changing operational needs.
- Understanding of DoD standards and security requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio or similar tools for documentation.

Additional Information
Pay Range: $75,200 - $158,100 USD. Compensation depends on factors like location, experience, skills, and certifications. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, retirement, education, and time off.
