Organizational Defense Travel Administrator

Key Role

Provide both quantitative and qualitative defense travel analysis and recommendations to improve organizational performance through changes to strategy, organization structure, process, human capital and culture, information technology, enterprise cost reduction, management practices, and cost drivers. Assist in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to improve client performance including policy, directive adherence, and mission achievement. Bolster improved Defense Travel operations and increase process efficiency. Examine systems and assist with the development of specific cost reduction solutions and business case analyses to support transformation efforts.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with military travel
• 3+ years of experience in assisting with budgets and financial operations
• Experience with Joint Travel Regulations
• Experience in the Defense Travel Administration and Defense Travel System (DTS) Administration
• Knowledge of Inspector General requirements for Program Management
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
  
  

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
• Completion of Defense Travel System (DTS) courses
  
  

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
