Responsibilities:

  • Design NORMA Group drawings (e.g., quotation and manufacturing), create and track part numbers, and oversee product verification and validation processes.
  • Establish and maintain D-FMEA (Software: Apis).
  • Define customer-owned interfacing components (e.g., flanges, spigots, gaskets).
  • Initiate and lead Global Excellence and VA/VE activities (cost saving, efficiency improvements).
  • Identify, communicate, and lead innovation projects.
  • Conduct testing and calculations for technical competitor analysis (e.g., benchmarking).
  • Develop and maintain design guidelines and conduct product trainings.
  • Manage customer inquiries and projects in daily operations.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor, Dipl. Ing., or Master).
  • Several years of relevant experience focusing on product design.
  • Experience leading projects from customer request to series production.
  • Fluent in English and German (C1+), both written and spoken; additional EU languages are a plus.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external customer relationships.
  • Motivated team player with a proactive attitude and opportunity recognition skills.
  • Experience creating and reviewing standards (e.g., DIN).
