We are looking for a talented and passionate student to join our team as a GenAI Research Student Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for researching Generative AI (GenAI) and its potential applications to improve our daily manual tasks. You will work closely with engineers and researchers to identify opportunities to leverage GenAI for automation and efficiency gains.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct research on Generative AI (GenAI) and its capabilities
  2. Identify and evaluate potential applications of GenAI to improve daily manual tasks at Cerence
  3. Collaborate with engineers and researchers to develop and test GenAI prototypes
  4. Document and present your findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
  5. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in GenAI research

Qualifications

  1. Currently enrolled or just graduated in a bachelor's or master's program in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field
  2. Understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts
  3. Experience with Generative AI models (e.g., GANs, VAEs) is a plus
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Strong communication and collaboration skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
