Responsibilities

1. Java backend development: mapping complex logistics processes of our shipping customers into technical concepts for connecting their in-house systems to our platforms.
2. Checking customer requirements and advising our Professional Services team on implementation possibilities based on your technological and Transporeon-specific knowledge.
3. Designing, implementing, and updating customer-specific features independently. Managing and prioritizing support tickets.
4. Participating in the installation and operation of customer interfaces on test and production systems. Providing technical 3rd level support for our interface platform.
5. Ensuring code quality through reviews and best practices, sharing knowledge, and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
6. Proposing improvements for customer and internal processes.

Candidate Profile

• Passionate about digitizing logistics and bringing modern technologies to the industry.
• Enjoys back-end Java development and project-oriented work, with at least 4 years of experience in a similar environment.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining bidirectional interfaces to customer systems using Java, Spring, Apache Camel, SOAP, and XML.
• Committed to ensuring the quality of your work.
• Comfortable working in an international team and communicating in English daily.
