Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multifunctional team using standard management methods such as Lean Management and develop related infrastructure.
  • Build and shape an interdisciplinary responsibility area, including a team within the repair department.
  • Establish and promote a participative, appreciative, and consistent leadership and work environment.
  • Ensure safety and documentation within your area of responsibility, including risk assessments and operational instructions.
  • Guarantee high adherence to deadlines by implementing scheduled tasks using IT tools, planning instruments, and leadership methods.
  • Maintain product quality by creating FMEA, failure analyses, and implementing continuous improvement processes.
  • Adhere to and optimize manufacturing and overhead budgets using targeted Lean principles.
  • Define and optimize work processes within your area and collaborate with interface partners from departments such as AV, ENG, QS, and projects.

Profile:

  • Completed technical vocational training, preferably with certification as an Industrial Foreman (d/m/w) or Technician (d/m/w).
  • Several years of experience in maintenance work and leadership experience.
  • Knowledge in electrical, pipe construction, and/or mechanical processing relevant to modern submarines is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with construction regulations for submarine equipment or willingness to learn quickly.
  • English skills for effective communication with clients and project teams are preferred.
  • IT skills in operating ERP and MES systems or willingness to acquire them.
  • Willingness to undertake international assignments for service or testing phases if required.
  • Open to further training and development in coordination with department management.
