Our App Team consists of enthusiastic engineers responsible for the iOS and Android applications of our e-commerce platform. We are seeking a strategic, people-focused Team Lead IT – App Development (m/f/d) for our offices in Leipzig or Berlin. You should bring leadership experience, a strong product mindset, and sufficient technical background (e.g., previous roles as Developer, Technical Product Owner, or similar) to effectively guide, challenge, and support the team—without necessarily writing code yourself.

Your tasks

Your profile

• Proven experience leading agile teams in mobile or frontend app development—ideally with a Product Owner background, technical product management experience, or previous hands-on development experience.
• Solid understanding of technical concepts, enabling confident leadership and effective communication with engineers and stakeholders.
• Strong affinity for excellent user experiences, working closely with UI/UX and Product teams to deliver meaningful solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, coupled with empathy, proactivity, and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable with change and experienced in leading teams through periods of growth and transformation.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
