Senior Connected Car Systems Consultant
As a Senior Connected Car Systems Consultant, you will be part of our Connected Car IT Team. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the technical aspects of connected car solutions for the Hyundai / KIA / Genesis connectivity platforms. You will ensure the successful delivery of software solutions, focusing on in-house systems, infotainment, and IoT, primarily within the back-end area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Understanding customer needs and the technical architecture of connected car systems and services.
- Conducting system analysis, requirements analysis, and functional analysis to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Architecting and designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that integrate with in-car hardware and cloud-based platforms.
- Troubleshooting complex issues, providing solutions to ensure system reliability, performance, and security.
- Communicating with external and internal stakeholders to define development needs and design service architectures.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable qualification.
- 5–8 years of experience in IT architecture and technical solutions.
- In-depth understanding of application architecture and non-functional aspects such as performance, scalability, reliability, and availability under security structures.
- Experience with backend platforms and API integration (XML, SOAP, REST, UML, etc.).
- Proficiency in databases and data engineering (SQL – PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Basic knowledge of networks, infrastructure, and security.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (On-Premise, AWS) and real-time data processing.
- Willingness to travel to other EU countries as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and customer orientation.
- Very good English skills (both spoken and written).
Nice to have :
- Experience or knowledge in connected vehicle feature implementation (OTA, FoD, IITC, etc.).
- Understanding of infrastructure and security architecture.
- Experience in developing microservices (RESTful) based on open-source products (Kubernetes, Docker, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.).
- Familiarity with software development tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of IoT connectivity protocols (HTTPS, TCP/IP, REST, MQTT, etc.).
