We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative - Global & Strategic Accounts to focus on the German Globals & Strategic market. Our SDRs will collaborate with Global Account Managers to generate leads and build customer pipelines. This entry-level role offers a dedicated growth path and training to develop into a skilled technical sales professional. We seek self-starters passionate about technology and people.

AS A SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Generate meetings through proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management to qualify and market our solutions to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing to identify opportunities from leads and set appointments.
  • Utilize strong selling and influencing skills to establish qualified appointments.
  • Gain sufficient understanding of the Snowflake Database to provide high-level introductions.
  • Apply taught sales techniques to maximize customer interactions.
  • Log, track, and maintain outbound activities.
  • Work closely with Sales Directors and attend customer meetings as needed.
  • Participate in sales meetings, vendor training, and local trade shows to stay current with technology.

OUR IDEAL SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE WILL HAVE:

  • 1-2 years of prospecting experience and a university degree from an accredited institution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German (native or fluent).
  • Strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Understanding of workflow systems and their application to improve customer business processes.
  • Ability to deliver formal and informal presentations to staff and clients.
  • Effective prioritization skills and adaptability to shifting work efforts.
  • Strong PC skills; knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
  • Effective time management, independence, and self-motivation.
  • A proven track record of achievement in roles with significant responsibility.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in technology.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proactive, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Presentation and relationship management skills.
