PLM Collaboration Administrator (m/w/d)

Job Description

We are seeking a professional to manage the administration, setup, and monitoring of specialized applications within our product development departments, utilizing hybrid servers and clients. The role includes supporting the development of specialized application test environments, implementing operational and data security measures in close coordination with our central IT, and managing engineering capabilities such as hardware procurement, control systems, and license management.

The candidate will also handle business relationship management for specific IT services and infrastructure topics, as well as manage and coordinate service providers for remote engineering tasks (e.g., CITRIX).

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, operating systems, system concepts, and virtual server and client environments in practical application.
• Solid experience in operating and administering server/client operating systems (Windows, Linux, ESX).
• ESX, RedHat, and Microsoft certifications related to the mentioned focus areas are desirable.
• Experience in administering HPC clusters and software development environments is advantageous.
• Proactive, independent, team-oriented, goal-driven, and structured working style.
• Customer-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
