Job Description

We provide innovative, efficient and reliable intralogistics solutions for the entire lifecycle to our customers.

Our customers are all worldwide Tire Production Plants from Continental. Our solutions range from Automatic Storage Systems over AGVs / AMRs and Conveying Systems to multiple Robotic solutions for Tire Handling.

As Engineer (m/f/diverse) for intralogistics, you are part of an international team responsible for the development, standardization, implementation and support of installed intralogistics solutions. You work in mutli-disciplinary project teams in close cooperation with our internal customers, partners and machine suppliers. You use modern tools in an innovative working environment with a lot of freedom to act.

• Drive worldwide intralogistics projects for our Tire Plants: from the initial planning to the on-site machine acceptance of the installed equipment
• Provide technical consultancy to our customers to improve the functionality of already installed equipment
• Develop innovative concepts and release new technologies based on market research and continuously improve our Machine Equipment Standards for intralogistics Systems
• Perform supplier evaluation, development and management activities in the frame of running projects
• Support interdisciplinary project initiatives and maintain a close contact to our stakeholders and the intralogistics community
  
  

Qualifications

• Academic degree in the field of engineering or comparable with a specialization in Automation or comparable qualification
• High interest/preferably working experience in Automation Systems (automated material transport, handling and storage systems)
• Working Experience in a Tire Plant (e.g. in Engineering, Production) is an advantage
• Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
• Teamplayer
• High motivation, strong communication skills, high level of commitment and resilience, networking, conceptual skills, willingness to constantly learn
• Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
