Engineer/Technician (m/f/d) Mechanical Engineering - Focus on Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Ventilation Technology in Shipbuilding

Job Description

Your tasks:

1. Supervision in the field of refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology in shipbuilding
2. Development of technical concepts and preparation of specifications for the approval and procurement process
3. Design and calculations of the systems
4. Definition, coordination and processing of interfaces to suppliers
5. Evaluation of tenders and preparation of proposals for decisions on technical risk and risk management
6. Cost analysis
7. Review and evaluation of suppliers' design documents
8. Preparation or review of schematic piping plans based on the construction specification and the classification requirements
9. Creation and testing of 3D models in the field of refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology
10. Technical coordination with customers and system suppliers
11. Cooperation with the other design departments and production

Minimum Requirements:

1. Completed technical or scientific studies or technician training (m/f/d)
2. Professional experience in the field as well as in integration in shipbuilding desirable
3. Confident handling of regulations and guidelines, preferably classification and SOLAS
4. Experienced user knowledge of the AutoCAD design program as well as good MS Office skills
5. Good written and spoken English skills in the subject area
6. Confident appearance, independence, assertiveness as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
