As an Agile Test Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our email backend systems. You’ll work in a collaborative, cross-functional team where quality is a shared responsibility and innovation is encouraged.

• Collaborate with product owners and business engineers to understand new features and translate them into robust, automated test cases.
• Design, implement, and maintain integration, acceptance, and performance tests for our RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure test reliability and efficiency in CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab-CI, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Continuously evolve our test strategy, develop custom testing tools, and contribute to process improvements.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to a culture of quality, learning, and continuous improvement.

Your profile

Do you have a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field? Do you feel comfortable as part of an agile team and enjoy helping to shape test automation? Do you write high-quality code, have a "hands-on" work attitude, and like to engage with new technologies? Then we look forward to receiving your application. We believe you will be most successful in this role, with the following experiences/skills:

• Proven experience in automated testing of RESTful APIs (JSON), ideally using Java and RestAssured or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD environments and containerized testing setups.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for breaking systems, identifying edge cases, and writing clean, maintainable test code.
• Bonus: Experience with performance testing tools and a curiosity for areas like DevOps, security, or data science.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit—you enjoy working in agile, interdisciplinary teams.
