Engineering Science & Technology and SHE Pharma

These units stand for innovative, sustainable solutions related to maintenance of machinery and equipment. As a Technician in Automation Support, you will independently perform complex maintenance and optimizations on modern production systems, ensuring high equipment availability and actively contributing to reducing manufacturing costs.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose technical issues and coordinate maintenance activities with operators, engineers, and production managers.
  2. Plan and execute inspections and maintenance, documenting results.
  3. Obtain and compare quotes, and manage external contractors.
  4. Work closely with engineers to plan technical solutions for equipment optimization and availability enhancement.
  5. Manage spare parts inventory and explore alternatives for necessary components.

Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training in Automation Technology and further qualification as a Certified Technician.
  • Several years of experience in similar technical roles.
  • Strong knowledge of automation systems, vision systems, bus systems (Profibus, Profinet), visualization, sensors, and drive technology.
  • Deep understanding of processes and electronics.
  • Proficiency with PC applications, SAP R/3, and software like Simatic Step7, Win CC, TIA, PCS7, C++/VB.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, KVP, or Kaizen is advantageous.
  • Good command of English, team-oriented, proactive, and structured working style.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, nights, on-call, and Saturdays.
