Are you an experienced technical salesperson with a passion for analytical instrumentation? Our client, a global manufacturer of analysis systems, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee commercial activities in Germany. This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially driven individual with a background in chemical or environmental analysis, looking to take ownership and grow, a strategic territory.

You will manage and grow existing accounts, identify and win new business opportunities, and represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer sites. This is a high-impact role focused on developing a priority growth market for the business.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of high-precision analytical instruments, with a global customer base across environmental, petrochemical, and industrial sectors. The company employs a number of people across their European and North American sites and supports clients through a broad international distributor network. With a strong reputation for quality, application expertise, and customer support, they are investing in the expansion of their direct sales capabilities in Europe, and particularly Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of sales activities across Germany, developing and executing a growth strategy
  • Manage existing customer relationships and drive account development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets
  • Collaborate with internal departments including technical support and marketing
  • Attend industry events to network, present solutions, and represent the company
  • Provide regular updates on territory performance and market trends

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will bring :

  • A background in scientific or technical sales, ideally in analytical instrumentation
  • Experience selling into petrochemical, environmental, or industrial markets
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Engineering
  • Fluency in German and professional working proficiency in English
  • A proactive, self-directed approach to regional sales management

Location

Field-based in Germany, with regular travel to customer sites and occasional travel to European HQ.
