Your mission

  1. Proactively develop our internal capabilities by gaining deep knowledge and expertise in the supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) industry through customized analyses and insights for different target groups.
  2. Leverage your experience in market and economic research to support our trading and sales teams: forecast market trends, assess technology implications, evaluate market fundamentals, and conduct benchmarking and requirements analysis.
  3. Create a structured approach to integrate external and internal information and resources to support management decision-making.
  4. Design and implement custom or off-the-shelf information system solutions in collaboration with our IT Department.
  5. Generate regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) on topics such as trade flows, market trends, opportunities, and strategic analyses of news and political developments.
  6. Identify and select appropriate communication channels for assessments and reports, including presentations, newsletters, or IT tools.
  7. Continuously improve the quality of our knowledge assets and adhere to industry best practices.
  8. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Your profile

  1. Degree in business administration, informatics, economics, econometrics, or a related field.
  2. At least two years of relevant experience in developing and implementing similar functions and solutions within an industrial company, software firm, or consulting environment.
  3. Understanding of Cementitious Materials, Cement, Concrete Industry, Sales, Trading, or Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Team-oriented with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  6. Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish and/or German is a plus.
  7. Interest in geopolitical issues and international markets.
  8. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%).
