Business Analyst / Consultant for Business Transformation (m/f/d)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Consultant specializing in Business Transformation to support one of our clients. The role focuses on financial modeling, KPI definition, and transformation business case development. This is a part-time role (3-5 days per week), with up to 100% remote work.

Key Details

• Workload: 3-5 days per week.
• Location: Hamburg (remote work up to 100% possible).
• Language Requirement: Fluent German (mandatory).
• Duration: Initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
• Start Date: ASAP.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Modeling & Business Analysis

• Enhance and further develop the Target System & Sizing financial model.
• Analyze and adjust key financial assumptions and parameters.
• Ensure consistency and validity of financial modeling, coordinating with stakeholders across various business units.

KPI Definition & Performance Tracking

• Define and structure KPIs across segments, regions, and business areas.
• Develop a performance measurement logic to track and analyze transformation impact.
• Ensure KPIs are traceable and consistent across all business units.

Transformation Tracking & Business Case Development

• Design and implement a tracking tool for transformation measures.
• Provide consultation on analysis and strategic control measures.
• Develop and validate a business case for the transformation, modeling costs, benefits, and economic efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in financial modeling and business case development.
• Proficiency in defining and structuring KPIs for business performance measurement.
• Experience in developing transformation strategies and tracking performance measures.
• Industry experience in manufacturing, automotive, or production (non-banking/insurance).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to align financial and business strategies.
• Fluent in German (mandatory).
