We are looking for a talented Vendor Manager for the Toys Category. In this role, you will work to create earth's greatest shopping experience.
The Vendor Manager will establish strong relationships with key segment manufacturers and distributors, integrating them into our logistic and catalogue systems, planning the selection of seasonal collections, and managing inventory levels. Further responsibilities will include coordinating marketing activities and driving projects to improve catalogue quality, navigation, and customer purchasing experience.
This role is for a passionate customer and category advocate, with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills. The VM must be an effective leader and communicator in working with some of Amazon's most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal colleagues and cross-functional leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Professional experience negotiating with vendors/suppliers and influencing internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis
• Fluency in English both written and verbal
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering
• Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
• Proficiency with SQL
