Responsibilities
- Implementing best practices for automation, scalability, and system reliability on high‑traffic web applications hosted with Kubernetes.
- Supporting in maintaining customer infrastructure across Kubernetes upgrades and software supply chain changes.
- Participating in continuous improvement processes, with a focus on supporting full‑stack developers managing complex deployments (in development environment).
- Supporting freshcells adopt and implement DevOps and MLOps best practices: In this position, you will have up to 25% of your working time for learning and experimenting, based on the needs and direction of freshcells.
Qualifications
- Expertise with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Expertise with Helm, including writing and maintaining custom Helm charts.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform or similar).
- Experience running production workloads on Kubernetes.
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with GitOps and continuous delivery tools such as Flux CD.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure‑as‑code tools (ideally Terraform).
- Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting and/or Python.
- Experience with observability, understanding how to set up and use logging, metrics, tracing, alerting.
- Experience with creating machine learning pipelines or willingness to learn it on the job.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with on‑call duty.
- Experience with data engineering, MLOps and training AI workloads, Metaflow.
- Experience with Argo CD, Argo workflows.
- Experience with SQL databases and Redis.
