Overview
We believe that every day is Day One at Amazon. We are growing and seeking a Senior HR Business Partner (m/f/d) to support a defined network of Fulfillment Center and Delivery Stations. You will be the competent point of contact for all HR topics, support location management and colleagues with professional HR expertise, and respond with empathy and flexibility. In this role you manage several locations in your region and independently coordinate travel to be present and local to meet the needs of your network. Region: Rostock, Neubrandenburg, and surrounding area.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a competent partner in employment law matters, working closely with the works council, HR management, and site leadership to enhance the workplace environment and foster positive employee relations.
- Work closely with managers in your area of responsibilities and support them in carrying out their management duties.
- Ensure the seamless execution of all operational personnel processes at the sites in the responsible region.
- Establish effective working relationships with employees at all levels, in particular through regular presence at the locations.
- Organize and implement HR projects in cooperation with operational areas.
- Resolve multi-faceted employee concerns, including complaints and complex disciplinary issues.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on key figures and implement policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local labor law.
- Proven experience as an HR generalist with a strong foundation in HR theory, practices, and employee development systems.
- Demonstrated track record in hourly workforce management.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and HR Information Systems.
- Experience collaborating with works councils.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and optimize resource utilization.
- Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken).
Additional requirements
- Masters degree in Human Resources Management.
- Proven track record in executive talent assessment and development.
- Expertise in designing and implementing compensation strategies.
- Demonstrated HR generalist experience in organizations with 250 employees.
