Security Engineer
Wiesbaden, Germany

In this versatile role, you will support the Product and Cloud Security team in shaping the security strategy for highly regulated IVDR devices and Azure-hosted cloud solutions. Working closely with global cross-functional teams—including developers, architects, and compliance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of security SOPs, standards, and guidelines.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating product and cloud security risks.
  • Support secure design reviews and make recommendations aligned with best practices.
  • Support security automation and testing efforts, including tool integration (e.g., SAST, DAST, SBOM) and vulnerability remediation.
  • Support integrating security across the product lifecycle and communicate key concepts to technical and non-technical teams.
  • Provide security training and awareness programs for developers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in product security, cloud security, or application security
  • Experience with commercial software development using C#, .NET, or web applications is a plus
  • Familiarity with medical device security and standards such as IEC 81001-5-1 and IEC 62443 is a plus
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills (German is a plus)
  • Cyber Security certifications such as CSSLP, CCSP, AZ-500, OSCP, or GPEN are a plus
