For our company at the Hannover location, we are looking for a Manager (w/m/d) Intellectual Property to support our Research and Development department.

• Global management of the HA Group's patent portfolio; monitoring competitors' patent activities and ensuring "Freedom to Operate".
• In collaboration with the VPs of R&D and M&S, as well as other global stakeholders: development and implementation of the IP strategy.
• Coordination of collaboration with external patent attorneys.
• Processing invention disclosures, inventor compensation, inventor contracts, and correspondence (digital file management).
• Digital execution and registration of formulations and technology transfers.
• Collaboration with the finance department for license billing (internal and external).
• Representative of global R&D in the company's sustainability committees; point of contact for sustainability issues for global R&D.

• PhD Chemist, ideally with experience in an international environment.
• Several years of solid professional experience in the field of patent law.
• Confident demeanor and self-reliant action.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Accuracy, reliability, and conscientiousness.
• Proficient use of MS Office applications.
• Knowledge in SAP is desirable.
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
