For permanent employment, OHB System AG in Bremen is seeking a System AIT & AIT Processes Team Lead (m/f/d). In this role, you will lead and develop a high-performing team, driving efficiency and innovation in Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) processes. You will ensure seamless collaboration across disciplines and locations while fostering continuous improvement in AIT methodologies.
Your Tasks
- Disciplinary responsibility for the System AIT and AIT Processes team members, including their personal development.
- Organize and develop training programs for the AIT teams.
- Develop new System AIT and AIT Processes teams in Bremen in cooperation with AIT in Oberpfaffenhofen.
- Lead team meetings to ensure knowledge transfer, application of lessons learned, and harmonization of methods between projects.
- Implement continuous improvement processes.
- Manage peak workloads in projects.
- Report to the Head of System AIT and Support Department.
Responsibilities of the System AIT & Processes Team
- Develop and apply lean AIT principles (e.g., 5S, Scrum).
- Consider company lessons learned.
System AIT Responsibilities
- Interdisciplinary responsibility for AIT tasks.
- Prepare for AIT activities (identify necessary documents, ensure document availability, generate/update AIT flows, track NCRs, organize daily briefings).
- Coordinate closely with Systems Engineering and Verification to ensure quality and timely delivery of inputs.
AIT Processes Responsibilities
- Develop AIT working methods (processes including qualification support).
- Create standard AIT documents (Work Instructions, templates).
Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in AIT.
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Innovative approach to AIT methods and testing.
- Fluency in English and German, both spoken and written.
