In this position, you will report directly to the EMEA Market President and belong to Höganäs EMEA Market Management Team and work closely with senior leadership to strengthen customer relationships, drive growth, and identify new CBT business opportunities across the region.**About the position**In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for driving the CBT Sales Strategy, in the EMEA region. You will be tasked with implementing and executing the Sales Strategy in alignment with the global CBT division strategies, ensuring continuous business development and sales performance in the market.Your responsibilities will include delivering the top-line revenue as defined in the 3-Year Business Plan for the CBT division in the EMEA region, as well as consistently developing, maintaining, and communicating strong competitive intelligence, market data, and sales analysis. You will monitor and analyze market-specific trends, share insights with relevant stakeholders, and propose strategies to optimize market opportunities.You will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing available sales resources, identifying opportunities to reduce costs without compromising long-term business objectives or market share. Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with global, regional, and in-country teams to foster strong relationships and team spirit, ensuring the long-term success of the CBT division.Maintaining high standards of customer service, satisfaction, and quality will be essential, alongside building value-added solution selling capabilities and managing C-Level sales engagements. You will execute Go-to-Market activities, extend market coverage, increase the sales funnel, and implement strategic selling initiatives.Additionally, you will oversee the CBT EMEA Sales team and execution of sales programs, ensuring their alignment with company policies and trade rules, while analyzing the results to ensure high sales and service performance. Managing system-based working methods (e.g., CRAM) will also be a key part of your role.In this position, you will play a crucial role in human capital and talent management and development, focusing on attracting, retaining, and developing local and regional talent. You will also be responsible for executing performance management tasks for all employees in the CBT EMEA Sales team. This position will be located at one of the Höganäs' German sites, in Düsseldorf, Goslar or Laufenburg. The role requires international travel across the EMEA region, with an expected scope of up to 70%.**Your profile**We are looking for a highly qualified individual with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Master preferred, with a minimum 10 years’ relevant commercial and/or technical experience.Ideally, you will have an engineering background to complement your business acumen. A solid understanding of key industry sectors, such as Automotive, Energy, and Aviation, will be highly valued. You should have at least 10 years of commercial leadership experience, ideally as a Sales Director with team responsibility, combined with solid experience working within a matrix organizational structure. Experience in multicultural or cross-cultural environments is a plus, as is a global business perspective.Proven **strong commercial acumen** is essential, combined with excellent **negotiation skills** and the ability to drive **commercial excellence** such as forecast accuracy, pricing, contract management, global strategic account planning and customer satisfaction management. Fluency in English and German is required, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.In addition to these qualifications, we are seeking someone with strong **strategic thinking** skills, able to drive current business performance results while contributing to the overall transformation of Höganäs.
