Details of the role and how it fits into the team

Corporate Bank is looking for a skilled Fullstack Developer to join the Client Access & Digital Experience team.

As a Lead / Senior Fullstack Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive elements of our complex web applications. You will be part of a team of fullstack developers, collaborating closely with UX / UI designers, Front-end, back-end developers, product owners, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative frontend solutions.

Your key responsibilities

  1. You will be autonomously implementing any new React feature in our web application, from start to finish, handling the relationship with backend developers and API design, where applicable.
  2. You will be interacting and communicating daily with the Design team to provide solid and accessible UX.
  3. You will be involved in design decisions about the future of the application and the platform.
  4. As a senior developer, you will also be part of our constant efforts to improve the general quality of our code, testing new technology, mentoring less senior team members, and implementing SDLC best practices.

Your skills and experiences

  1. Proven, battle-tested 8+ years of expertise in fullstack development which includes JAVA, Spring Boot, ORM, Cloud experience with GCP, React.js, and core principles of modern frontend and backend development. Knowledge of other libraries (Vue, Svelte, Remix, Next.js) and backend architecture (SOA, BFF, MVC) would be a bonus.
  2. Proficiency in semantic HTML, modern CSS, and awareness of the most common security threats (OWASP Top 10).
  3. Proficiency in GCP, JAVA 8+ onward, ORM framework, databases, with a little bit of DevOps knowledge required.
  4. Expert level in JUnit, JAVA from 8 to 17 version knowledge would be an add-on, Spring Boot, and callback function mechanism for BFF.
  5. Should be an expert in Microservices with REST APIs development.
  6. Experience working with Node.js, asynchronous programming, and understanding of web networking and cryptographic concepts.
  7. Familiarity with Web Accessibility (i.e., WCAG 2.x specifications).
  8. Verifiable Open Source contributions and/or involvement in the frontend community would be a big plus.
  9. Robust English communication skills, in writing and speaking.
  10. Understanding of UX / UI design principles and collaboration with design teams.
