ProcurementCategory Lead – MRO Services(Europe)

The Role
AsMROServices Category Lead, you will partner with operational teams and business leaders to shape and deliver long-term procurement strategies aligned with ADM’s goals. You will leverage market intelligence, risk analysis, and supplier relationship management to build innovative sourcing solutions and drive value.

In this role, you will lead your assigned categories and contribute to the management of repair and maintenance contractors across our European factories.Working closely with factory managers and maintenance teams, you will ensure efficient, effective service delivery while deploying category strategies across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate market intelligence, business goals, and spend analysis into strategic sourcing opportunities.
  • Build strong stakeholder engagement through transparent communication and alignment on objectives.
  • Set and track category metrics and savings targets, reporting progress to key stakeholders.
  • Act as a change agent, positioning procurement as a value-driving function.
  • Prepare and manage RFI/RFP processes, analyze supplier responses, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, terms, quality, and service.
  • Drive compliance through KPIs, supplier relationship management, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Expand contractual coverage to optimize contractor spend.
  • Collaborate with risk, HR, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with policies, laws, and regulations.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years’ procurement experience, including 2+ years in regional/global category management or strategic sourcing.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages a plus.
  • Proven experience in multinational environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with expertise in complex agreements and contract law.
  • Ability to develop advanced category strategies and deliver measurable results.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects independently in dynamic environments.
