Senior AI Engineer (m/f/d)

Your role

As a Senior AI Engineer (m/f/d), you’ll design, implement, and scale AI capabilities for our product. You will join a small, experienced engineering team and work hands‑on on real, production‑grade AI feature — from early ideas to reliable operation. This role is engineering‑focused, not research‑oriented: we care about robust software, maintainability, and real customer value.

If you enjoy turning AI concepts into reliable, scalable product features, working closely with architects, product managers, and UX, and taking ownership end‑to‑end, this is your job:

• Implement AI‑based use cases and integrate them into existing systems or build new systems around them, ensuring clean and efficient software design
• Select and apply suitable generative AI models for concrete product use cases, including choosing appropriate algorithms and architectures
• Collaborate closely with product, UX/UI, data, and engineering teams to identify problems and deliver high‑quality AI‑powered solutions
• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability by applying MLOps best practices, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and participating in on‑call rotations
• Drive technical delivery across the full lifecycle — from ideation and requirements analysis to dataset creation, experiment validation, deployment, and operations
• Shape how AI is built in the product, influencing architecture, tooling, and engineering standards

Your profile

• You have 5+ years of proven experience building and delivering AI‑based use cases in production environments
• You have strong hands‑on engineering background with Python, Java, or Node.js (including frameworks such as Spring or NestJS)
• You bring broad knowledge of modern AI frameworks and approaches, such as LangChain, OpenAI APIs, RAG architectures, Vector Databases, MCP, and similar technologies
• You’re experienced in building agents and multi‑agent systems
• You have a strong grasp of software design principles, patterns, and best practices
• You’re curious, pragmatic, and creative, even when there’s no clear blueprint
• You communicate fluently in written and spoken English
