IT SAP PM/EAM Solution Architect & Maintencances Services Consultant (f/m/d)

Overview

Infineon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled SAP PM/EAM IT Solution Architect and internal consultant (f/m/d) to strengthen Infineon’s Maintencances Services. In this dual role, you will shape the target architecture and end-to-end solution design for SAP PM/EAM, and you will act as a trusted advisor to Maintenance stakeholders to map and optimize their processes in SAP. You will actively contribute to IT operations for both SAP and non-SAP solutions, ensuring a robust, scalable, and secure application landscape.

Responsibilities

• Act as an internal consultant and IT solution architect for SAP PM/EAM, collaborating with stakeholders to transform business requirements into comprehensive, end-to-end solution designs and architectural roadmaps
• Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget while maintaining high-quality standards; balance functional scope with architectural integrity and non-functional requirements (performance, availability, security, and compliance)
• Inspire and mentor team members, supporting their development in both technical and functional areas
• Shape and prioritize IT service product requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders, business customers, partners and external service providers, ensuring high-quality outcomes
• Be actively involved in global operational IT support, handling both SAP and non-SAP platforms; manage incident, problem, and change processes to ensure system stability and foster continuous improvement
• Design and deliver engaging training sessions for internal customers, equipping them with critical knowledge to maximize value from IT solutions
• Govern the integration of SAP Plant Maintenance with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems via APIs, IDocs and middleware; ensure data consistency, reliability, and security

Qualifications

• A Degree in IT, Engineering or other relevant fields
• Several years of SAP implementation experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), with proven expertise as an IT Solution Architect responsible for end-to-end solution design and system integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in a global, fast-paced environment
• In-depth knowledge of SAP PM/EAM processes and their integration with other SAP modules like MM, QM, PP, and FI/CO; familiarity with Fiori-based user experiences and authorization concepts is an advantage
• A passion for tackling and managing complex topics or projects independently, combined with the ability to professionally lead teams; ability to communicate complex architectural topics clearly to both business and IT audiences
• Hands-on experience with integration technologies (APIs, IDocs and middleware) with a solid understanding of security, data protection and compliance principles
• The ability to communicate and present fluently in English and German
